My Thoughts: August's Eyes is a mix of realistic horror of a serial killer that goes after young teenage boys and the supernatural. I really enjoyed the supernatural element within the story, but the realistic horror is what really scared me. The main character John is a well developed flawed character. All the supporting characters are also well developed. The antagonists in the story are the kind of characters that will leave anyone unsettled and disturbed.
